“After a month of online learning at Regent, I thought, 'Man, this is the best thing!' Not only did I get to learn my discipline, I got to learn how my values and my beliefs can be intertwined into my discipline.”
Shaketta D. Thomas, Ed.S. - Educational Psychology, 2017; M.Ed. - Curriculum & Instruction, 2013 Testing Director & Program Specialist, Virginia Department of Corrections
“I am grateful for Regent’s rigorous, Christ-centered Special Education program. I look forward to sharing my passion and experience with the next generation of special education teachers. I’m also excited to continue my research on educational practices utilized in public schools.”
Allisha Beerwart, Ed.D., 2018 Assistant Professor of Education, School of Education, GSW State University
“I was equipped with the critical thinking skills I needed to strategically implement and assess fresh and creative ways to approach instruction and learning. I received consistent encouragement from my professors and cohort to push beyond my personal best in research and daily practice.”
Alicia Langley, M.Ed., 2012 TESOL
“I didn’t have time to sit in the classroom, and I needed to do the work on my own time. Regent checked off all the boxes that I needed it to. The ability to be able to do things at my own pace was wonderful ... The biggest thing I took away from Regent was servant leadership. I kind of put that into my own soul.”
Ernie Stokes, Ed.S., 2018 Music Teacher, Butts Road Intermediate and Camelot Elementary
“Regent really helped me understand the unique landscape of Christian higher education. I feel better prepared to contribute to Life Pacific College's distinct mission and purpose because of my time spent here.”
Josh Arnold, M.Ed., 2008 HR Leadership & Management
