The Honors College is a community of student thinkers and researchers across all majors at Regent. Write a brief (250-300 word) proposal to invite a living scholar, artist, or practitioner to visit the Honors College whose work challenges conventional thinking in their field. What problem drives this person's work, and why does it matter beyond their discipline? What would you ask them that would help you in your own field of interest? How would their visit create intellectual friction and new thinking?*

2. Honors College practice centers around Socratic dialogue, which invites respectful debate. Imagine a scenario where class discussion takes an argumentative turn. Some students and maybe even the professor give views you strongly disagree with. How would you conduct yourself in this situation while recognizing Regent's firm Christian positions on core theological and social issues?

To complete the Honors College application process, Regent must receive a copy of your high school transcripts. Decisions on the Honors College are made only after students have been accepted to 91��.
