“Learning in the classroom is really important, but unless you apply it, it is wasted. Being involved in the community at Regent and seeing how the school helps young people become passionate about what they believe in or feel called to do, inspired me.”
Spencer Brown, B.A. , 2016
“My mentor and I are mutually keeping each other lifted up in prayer and with encouragement in the midst of life's challenges. This mentorship connection has delivered extra focus for me by giving me a living example of what I desire to be engaged in upon graduating from Regent. Since I will be over 55 when I finish, my executive mentor demonstrates how there are decades of fruitfulness ahead of me and that completing this program is worth the rewards and open doors in the future.”
Wade Jensen, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2025 Mentee
“I chose Regent because of its Christian principles, as I wanted to learn how to integrate my faith with telling stories; also because of its amazing film program and facilities. Yes, my expectations were definitely met.”
Michelle Bello, M.A., 2011 Cinema Arts/Television, Directing
“I was incredibly blessed to learn from committed men and women who were so knowledgeable about their field. They were also just as passionate and committed to their faith and investing in their students.”
Rebekah Woods, Doctor of Organizational Leadership, J.D., 2004, 1994
“I did not pursue a legal career for my own purposes. I see it as a means of public service — a means of loving God’s people and serving the community. I know why I’m doing this. Regent prepared me to do it well through a firm academic curriculum and practical experience — all the while, I was well supported and inspired by my professors.”
Dianna Baker, J.D., 2015 Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney II - Lynchburg
